By downloading, installing, or using the TelaLoc application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).

TelaLoc grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the App for its intended purpose: live location sharing and safety monitoring for yourself and your trusted contacts.

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App independently, or use it under parental/guardian supervision.
• You agree to provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree not to use the App to stalk, harass, surveil, or track any individual without their explicit consent.
• You agree not to reverse-engineer, modify, or exploit the App for any unauthorised purpose.

To function correctly, TelaLoc requires certain device permissions. By using the App, you consent to:

• Location access (including background location) — to share your live location with your trusted circle and detect safety anomalies.
• Camera & media access — for profile photos and optional evidence sharing during emergencies.
• Contacts access — to help you invite and add trusted circle members.
• Notifications — to deliver safety alerts and check-in reminders.

You may revoke any permission at any time through your device settings, though doing so may limit or disable core safety features.

• Your live location and safety status are visible only to members of your trusted circle whom you explicitly add.
• You are responsible for managing who is part of your trusted circle.
• TelaLoc does not make your location public or share it with unrelated third parties for marketing purposes.

TelaLoc is a safety support tool, not a substitute for emergency services. In case of any life-threatening emergency, please immediately contact local emergency services (Dial 112 in India).

We shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or harm arising from reliance on the App's location data or alert system, whether direct or indirect.

TelaLoc offers a free tier with core features and a premium tier with advanced safety and connectivity features available via in-app purchase or subscription.

• All purchases are processed securely via the Google Play billing system.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy. Contact us at telalocindia@gmail.com for refund disputes.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable prior notice to users.

The App, including its design, logos, text, graphics, and underlying software, is owned by TelaLoc or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TelaLoc, its affiliates, and personnel from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

• Using the App to unlawfully track, monitor, or surveil any individual without their informed consent.
• Impersonating another user or providing false identity information.
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or location data.
• Using the App for any illegal purpose under Indian law.
• Interfering with the App's servers, infrastructure, or security mechanisms.

Violation of any prohibited activity may result in immediate account suspension or termination without notice.

You may delete your account and terminate your use of TelaLoc at any time through the app settings. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice.

Upon termination, your personal data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Continued use of TelaLoc after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of TelaLoc shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. We encourage users to first reach out to us at telalocindia@gmail.com to resolve any concerns amicably before initiating legal proceedings.
